Low Power Home

A typical Guernsey home has at least one roof that faces east, south or west, or a flat roof that may be open to all the sun’s orientations. From a few panels to four panels or more and typically 6 to 10 panels, you can maximise your generation by maximising your roof spaces. By design, we take care of the movement of the sun over the day and any shading that may occur. By design, we also ensure high aesthetics and technical finishes. We believe systems should look good as well as operate correctly. 

Depending on your system size, your home may warrant a battery backup system to shave the expensive rate times when there is no sun. If your system is just taking care of your existing power consumption by day, we recommend a few extra panels to charge the battery over the top of your daytime use.

How low can you go? One panel. 300 watts output, simply plug the microinverter into the mains socket. We supply a “VZPV” (Very Easy PV) package that does just that and includes all the paperwork to Guernsey Electricity.
