Roof Fixings
There are a lot of different types of roof materials and coverings, and there is a solution for every type of roof. There are several different design criteria which are equally important, which include wind loading, weatherproofing, type of slate or pantile or other tile and age of roof.
Should the roof be simply covered over by panels and utilise standard solar hooks or is the age of the roof such that solar limpets are used, thus maintaining the integrity of the roof, or should the roof be replaced.
If replacing there’s a great opportunity, especially for slate for a more elegant solution, or should the roof become an integrated solar roof? There are several solutions we have used over the years to good success. Some system solutions are repeated over and again, and other roofs demand a more custom solution, design-specific.
