About Paul Fletcher

I'm self-employed and run a small business that specialises in solar photovoltaic and bespoke renewable energy solutions. I have a small team of roofers and scaffolders experienced and trained in undertaking every type of solar installation.

My involvement in the energy landscape stretches back to 1982, and I have worked in the renewables and energy efficiency business full-time since 1993. My wealth of experience and deep understanding of energy systems means a lot of my time has been spent on researching and developing new system equipment, techniques and methodologies. And I'm presently learning to code. My aim is to make the implementation of renewable energy easier, quicker and less costly.

For the past seven years, I've undertaken service and maintenance of all types and makes of renewables, from heat pumps to solar thermal. At the same time, I have kept up with the growing demand for solar photovoltaic installations, with the now heightened awareness to combat the climate crisis. Since there are now so many people well-versed in renewables in the UK and across the world, I recently took the opportunity to become well trained and qualified in my passion. From electrical to refrigeration and solar thermal to photovoltaics including heat pumps I have City & Guilds to BPEC and others to manufacturer credentials.

Many of my clients started with a single solar photovoltaic (PV) system, then over time added solar thermal, a heat pump and ended up with an 'all-singing, all-dancing' internet-connected renewable energy system that does it all. Newcomers can do the same, start with a simple solar PV installation - or have it all at once. Battery storage is now on the rise, and I have installed various battery applications over the past 27 years I've been in business. I am so glad that there are now some wonderful off-the-shelf storage answers on the market, all meeting a variety of needs. You can see those on our solutions page.

My approach is to find out what you, the client, is looking for and produce a solution or set of solutions for you and your home or business. Our collective objective will be to reduce your energy costs and maximise your self-generation of power with technical excellence. Helping you make a contribution to not only the betterment of your own economic well-being but also a real contribution to the local energy community - and through our connection to Europe, the rest of the world. This gives me great satisfaction.
